I absolutely love Steampunk fashion.
For some it's a lifestyle others only wear it at Cons and other events.
One of the things I love most about it is that it is actually a very wearable fashion style. It can be dressed up or down very easily.
If it were possible I would dress in this style everyday. But it's just not possible with a job, family and a short time to get ready in the morning. However, I believe that you can easily bring that vintage and whimsical Steampunk essence into your everyday wardrobe very easily.
